Holiday Inn Shanghai Pudong Airport is the newest large hotel at the airport and the only branded one you can walk to: 392 rooms at 6009 Yingbin Avenue, about 500 metres from the terminals with covered walkway access to Terminals 1 and 2, and the Pudong Airport station for Metro Line 2, the Maglev and the Airport Link Line a few minutes on foot. It suits early departures, arrivals after midnight and anyone who wants a modern room without depending on a shuttle timetable.

The 392 rooms run from Standard and Premium rooms with a king bed or two singles to Suites and a One Bedroom Suite. Rooms are new-build Holiday Inn: blackout curtains, a work desk, a mini-bar, a kettle, a safe and a bathroom with a walk-in shower; the higher categories add a separate living area. Some rooms look towards the airfield.
Free Wi-Fi covers the whole hotel. Check-in is from 2:00 pm and check-out at noon; early check-in and late check-out depend on availability and are worth asking for on a red-eye.

The fitness centre is open 24 hours. Parking is free for hotel guests, housekeeping is daily, and the front desk is staffed around the clock. Meeting space is available for airport-side events. There is no pool, and pets are not allowed.
Location and Transportation
The hotel is at 6009 Yingbin Avenue, next to Pudong International Airport, roughly 500 metres from the terminal buildings. IHG describes covered walkway access to Terminals 1 and 2; from the arrivals halls follow the signs for the metro and Maglev in the central area and continue to Yingbin Avenue. The hotel does not run an airport shuttle. It is close enough on foot that it does not need one.
The lobby is within walking distance of Metro Line 2 (about an hour to People’s Square with a change at Guanglan Road), the Maglev (eight minutes to Longyang Road) and the Airport Link Line (about 40 minutes to Hongqiao).
