Pudong Airport Hotel Guide (pudongairporthotel.com) is an independent editorial guide to hotels at and around Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG). It is written for travellers who need a practical answer to one question: where should I stay before an early flight, during a long layover or visa-free transit stop, or on a trip that starts or ends at Pudong?

The site is not owned by, or affiliated with, Shanghai Airport Authority (the airport operator), China Eastern Airlines, or any hotel chain featured on these pages.

How we research hotel information

Every hotel page is compiled from the hotel’s own published information, booking platform listings, and official airport sources. We focus on the details that matter for airport stays: whether a hotel is inside the terminal, on foot from the arrivals halls or on a shuttle; whether the shuttle is free, when it starts and whether it must be reserved; which terminal gate it leaves from; parking; and facilities relevant to short stays such as hourly rooms, early breakfasts and 24-hour reception.

Each page shows the date its information was last verified. Prices, opening hours, shuttle schedules and visa rules change; always confirm current details with the hotel, the booking site or the Chinese immigration authorities before you travel.

Hotel names at Pudong

Hotels around Pudong change brands more often than at most airports. The former Ramada Pudong Airport Hotel now trades as Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Shanghai Pudong Airport, The Qube Hotel Shanghai Pudong was the Howard Johnson Chuansha, and the hotel we listed for years as UrCove by Hyatt Shanghai Pudong East left Hyatt in 2026 and now operates as Fuyi Hotel Shanghai International Tourist Resort. Our pages carry the current names and note the former ones, so what you read here may differ from older signs or listings.
